What is Gizzit?
Gizzit is a daily semantic word game: there's one hidden word each day, and you guess it by meaning, not spelling. Every guess is ranked by how close it is in meaning to the answer — so "ocean" and "sea" land near each other even though they share no letters. There's a fresh word every day for everyone.
How to play
- Type any word and submit your guess.
- Each guess gets a rank — closer in meaning means a better (lower) number.
- Rank #1 is the hidden word of the day.
- Keep guessing to close in, and solve it in as few gizzes as you can.
Frequently asked questions
How do gizzes and energy work?
A gizz is one guess. Free players get a set number of gizzes per day, and they refill over time. If you run out, you can watch a short ad to top up, or go unlimited with a membership. Your gizz count, ranks, and scores are all tracked on the server, so your progress is consistent across devices.
What's a streak?
Solve the daily Gizzit and your streak grows by one; miss a day and it resets. A flame next to your Gizzit number shows how many days in a row you've solved, and it levels up as your streak climbs. Streaks are tracked on the server, so they follow you across devices.
What's a Gizzup?
A Gizzup heals your streak: if you miss a day, spend a Gizzup to keep the flame alive instead of resetting to zero. Gold Gizzers get 4 Gizzups a month, and linking your account grants a free one.
How does the Gold Gizzer membership work?
Gold Gizzer is an auto-renewing monthly subscription that gives you unlimited gizzes, both daily gizzits open immediately, 4 Gizzups a month, the gold skin, and no interstitial ads. It's billed through your Apple ID at the price shown in the app and renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends. You can manage or cancel anytime in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your device.
How do I restore purchases?
If you reinstalled the app or switched devices, open the Membership (or "More Gizzes") screen and tap Restore Purchases. Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID you used to subscribe, and your membership will be reactivated.
How do I delete my account?
Open Profile → Delete Account in the app. This permanently erases your data. If you're a guest, signing out also clears your local data. Need help? Email us at the address below and we'll take care of it.
