Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Gizzit ("Gizzit", "we", "us") governing your use of the Gizzit app and related services (the "Service"). Please read them carefully.
1. Acceptance of Terms & Eligibility
By downloading, installing, or using Gizzit you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Gizzit is a general-audience app. You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use the Service.
2. The Service
Gizzit is a daily word-guessing game: each day brings two daily gizzits to solve, with streaks that grow as you keep solving and leaderboards to compare your results. Game content, rules, and features may change over time.
3. Accounts
- A guest account is created automatically when you first play, so your progress is saved.
- You may optionally sign in with Apple to link your account and keep it across devices.
- You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping access to it secure.
4. Gold Gizzer Subscription
Gold Gizzer is an auto-renewable monthly subscription purchased through your Apple ID. It unlocks unlimited gizzes, both daily gizzits immediately, 4 Gizzups per month, the gold skin, and removes interstitial ads.
- Price — the price is shown in the app at the point of purchase and is localized by the App Store for your region.
- Payment — charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
- Auto-renewal — the subscription renews automatically unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends.
- Managing & cancelling — after purchase you can manage or cancel the subscription in your App Store account Settings (Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions).
- Refunds — purchases are non-refundable except as required by applicable law or as provided by Apple's policies. Refund requests are handled by Apple through your App Store account.
5. Virtual Items
Gizzes, Gizzups, and any other in-game items or currencies are virtual items with no cash value. They are not transferable, not redeemable for money or anything of value outside the Service, and may be modified, rebalanced, or discontinued at any time.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- use bots, scripts, automation, or scraping tools against the Service;
- exploit bugs, glitches, or unintended behavior for advantage;
- use offensive or abusive display names;
- cheat or otherwise undermine fair play on leaderboards.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, remove leaderboard entries, and take other reasonable action to protect the Service and its players.
7. Termination & Changes
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the Service (and delete your account in the app) at any time.
We may modify the Service or these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date; continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Gizzit will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months before the claim arose.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, except where the mandatory consumer-protection law of your country of residence applies.
